About Your New Job:
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with 7+ years of experience managing construction projects within a main contractor environment.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects from start to finish ensuring that they are completed on time within budget and to the required standards.
* Develop and manage project schedules ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are met.
* Lead and motivate a project team including subcontractors suppliers and internal staff.
* Liaise with clients consultants and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the project.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations quality standards and company policies.
* Prepare and manage project budgets monitor costs and control expenditure to prevent overruns.
* Provide regular progress updates to clients and senior management identifying and addressing any potential risks or issues.
* Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes including sourcing and managing subcontractors.
* Review and approve project documentation including drawings specifications and reports.
* Oversee site inspections and ensure that the project is progressing as planned.
What Skills You Need:
* A minimum of 7 years' experience as a Project Manager within a main contractor environment.
* Proven experience in managing large-scale complex construction projects across various sectors.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes project scheduling cost management and risk mitigation.
* Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and efficiency.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and site management best practices.
* Relevant qualifications in construction management engineering or a related field.
* Proficiency in project management software e.g. MS Project Procore is desirable.
