This is an exciting opportunity for a personable, diligent and hard working individual, with exceptional project management skills and proven experience in the Pharmaceutical sector.
Requirements
* Good understanding of pharma norms, regulations, GMP, GAMP, ASME BPE.
* Familiarity with Pharma pure fluid utilities including: softening, reverse osmosis, electrodeionisation, purification, multiple effect distillation, pure steam generation, storage and distribution of pure fluid utilities, validation of pharma systems.
* General understanding of waste water technologies.
* Ability to solve problems and meet project deadlines.
* Ability to create P & I D drawings and write Functional Design Specifications.
* Cost-consciousness and ability to critically analyze designs for cost reductions.
* Experience managing multiple projects with familiarity in using project plans.
* Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with technical and non-technical disciplines.
* Awareness of health and safety risks on client properties.
* Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
Responsibilities
* Lead design of Pharma pure fluid utility requirements.
* Project management and streamlining workflow for assigned projects.
* Attend hand-over meetings, understand contract conditions, and ensure scope alignment.
* Conduct design reviews to verify compliance with project requirements and budgets.
* Monitor progress, prepare reports, and attend meetings.
* Identify, quantify, and agree on variations with client’s agents.
* Coordinate with other departments to meet project timelines.
* Prepare hand-over packages and schedule system commissioning.
* Conduct post-project reviews for performance improvement.
* Obtain client approval for variations before work begins.
* Prepare cost spreadsheets to determine project value and margin.
* Maintain and improve project margins without compromising quality.
* Represent the company in project matters and handle documentation.
* Attend site meetings and issue follow-up minutes.
* Issue operation handbooks and provide client training where appropriate.
* Produce accurate AutoCAD process schematics, P&ID, and plant layouts.
* Ensure equipment fits and is accessible according to standards.
* Develop validation documentation such as IQ, commissioning sheets, and OQ protocols.
* Job location is in Ireland, with travel abroad as needed.
