Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position Extensive experience in compliance or regulatory roles within Financial Services, either in-house or advisory, with strong knowledge of Financial Regulator rules and guidance. Proven expertise in Enterprise Risk and Operational Risk management frameworks. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams of compliance specialists, fostering high performance. Strong commercial acumen with a track record of identifying and progressing new business opportunities. Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder influencing skills. Relevant third-level qualification; professional compliance certifications such as the ACOI Diploma are highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to support reporting and presentations. 3. Success in the Role: Performance Outcomes in your first 6-12 months Successfully manage and deliver multiple client engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and meeting deadlines. Develop and implement robust compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures tailored to client needs. Lead and mentor your team to achieve high performance and professional growth. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in collaboration with internal teams, contributing to practice development. Provide expert regulatory advice and training to clients, enhancing their compliance capabilities. 4. What type of work will I be doing? Providing technical regulatory expertise and advisory services to a broad range of Financial Services clients (40%). Leading project planning, management, and delivery to meet client and regulatory expectations (30%). Developing compliance frameworks, policies, and conducting internal audits or monitoring activities (15%). Engaging in business development activities, including client secondments and regulatory training design and delivery (15%) 5. Who is the Hiring Manager?
