Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is keen to hire a Reliability Engineer to join their team in Sligo on a 12-month contract.
Responsibilities of Reliability Engineer:
* Support the engineers with the next level of MEP to fully integrate MEP into the culture.
* Implement programs and procedures required to ensure equipment maintenance is performed in a compliant manner.
* Monitor the operation of equipment and systems.
* Track, analyse and improve key Maintenance Excellence Program (MEP) key performance indicators (KPI’s) parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, site maintenance compliance, schedule etc.
* Apply knowledge in methods and processes to prevent, or reduce, the likelihood or frequency of failures in site systems.
* Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA), Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM), Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault tree analysis (FTA), PM optimisation.
* Train employees on reliability processes, trains supervision on the impact that the operators and technicians have on reliability.
Ideal Background:
* A third level qualification in Engineering or a relevant discipline.
* Trade qualification plus six years engineering experience.
* 3rd level qualification must be coupled with 3 years relevant work experience.
* Strong IT Skills are required for this position.
