Job Function
Soft Services GMP Shift Team Leader ensures the smooth running of the site adhering to the Site Service Level Agreement and Services Specification. Soft Services GMP Shift Team Leader will assist in providing an efficient and effective cleaning service in accordance with contractual obligations, company policy, and standards. They will manage day-to-day operations on the ground, liaise closely with the Soft Services GMP Supervisor, organize cover for staff in their absence, and ensure work instructions are followed.
Responsibilities
* Manage, develop, and mentor the shift team
* Engage the shift team to deliver cleaning schedule requirements while maintaining a culture of compliance, safety, and innovation
* Ensure all documentation and logbook entries are completed as Good Documentation Practice (GDP)
* Schedule daily activities fairly and ensure the cleaning matrix is followed
* Continuously coach and communicate any outstanding issues to all staff
* Manage the shift team while covering for the Shift Supervisor
* Ensure staff follow Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and report noncompliance to the Shift Supervisor

* Flexibility and ability to work day/night shifts, 12 hours per day
* Assist the Soft Services GMP Shift Supervisor in supervising the cleaning service staff, including workload allocation, progress monitoring, performance evaluation, work priorities determination, productivity, and quality control
* Monitor cleaning equipment usage and communicate any issues to the Soft Services GMP Supervisor
* Conduct stock checks on equipment, materials, and consumables as required

* Excellent computer literacy essential for administrative purposes
* Experience using cleaning equipment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Working Pattern
Monday-Sunday, 42 hours per week
