Job Title: Product Manager
Location: Hybrid working (connected to Kilkenny or Peterborough offices).
Are you a Product Manager who thrives on problem-solving, tackling bugs, and ensuring smooth issue resolution? Do you have a proven track record in managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to delivery, ensuring slick transition of knowledge?
We're on the lookout for a dynamic Product Manager who is adaptable and passionate about shaping products that make a difference to our customers every day. In this role, you’ll collaborate across teams to steer products from initial concept through to successful launch, bridging the gap between technical and business perspectives. You excel at breaking down complex challenges into actionable steps that drive rapid and effective product development.
What you'll be doing:
1. Investigate and prioritise reported bugs and issues
2. Handle the delivery of new products and features and ensure knowledge transfer to operational teams.
3. Manage the product roadmap, incorporating new feature requests from internal and external stakeholders
4. Support Business Development Manager in dealing with complaints and escalated customer concerns
5. Guide software and hardware products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analysing, positioning, promoting, and tailoring our solutions.
6. Manage releases
7. Create specifications for development - explaining, testing & writing releases for comms for internal and external sharing.
8. Schedule product releases (avoiding busy periods and ensuring customer impact/input is minimal)
9. Manage and follow the Agile development process with the dev team
10. Define and carry out product testing
11. Lead on discovery of new products and features
What you'll bring:
1. Ability to deliver solutions that improve our products and satisfy our customers.
2. Great engagement and communication skills
3. Troubleshooting techniques
4. High attention to detail
5. Determination, tenacity, and patience
6. Requirement analysis
7. Experience within Dairy farming and the dairy industry would be a benefit but not essential.
Location: Please note this role can be remote working; however, our teams are based in Peterborough and Kilkenny, therefore we are open to accepting applications from candidates in either area. You should be prepared to work from the office once per week.
