Global Commercial Operations supports AstraZeneca's global brand teams and marketing companies in delivering quality commercial content to external collaborators, including doctors, healthcare professionals, and patients.

To deliver our Global Commercial Operations vision, we are looking for an experienced Senior L&D Learning Specialist responsible for managing L&D programs.
They support end users by working with T&D individuals and administrators in the field to ensure program management, cohort management, registration, e-learning support, and training support requests.
They also collaborate with various levels of operations by providing training and compliance reports.
This position involves gathering information from users and compiling and generating reports as needed.
The individual will apply proven communication and writing skills along with operations knowledge and expertise to manage L&D programs.
AccountabilitiesManage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring successful outcomes within specified timelines and resource constraints.Engage and collaborate with Executive Assistants and Senior Leaders across various technical areas.Maintain meticulous attention to detail and adherence to established processes.Take ownership of responsibilities and consistently deliver results in a timely manner.Find opportunities for improvement and seek effective solutions.Communicate effectively in English with collaborators.Support learning administration tasks such as course creation, user enrollment, and content validation.Manage job roles, workspaces, pathways, plans, skills, insights, and groups in the Degreed platform.Communicate with clients to define requirements for training reports.Recommend training solutions based on personal experience and client feedback.Troubleshoot material hosted on the LMS.Prepare and manage reports related to LMS data.Essential Skills/ExperienceProject Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring successful outcomes within specified timelines and resource constraints.
Proficiency in applying project management tools and methodologies to drive efficiency.Collaborator Management: Proven capability in engaging and collaborating with Executive Assistants and Senior Leaders across various technical areas, fostering effective matrix and cross-functional working relationships, particularly in dynamic and uncertain environments.Attention to Detail and Process Orientation: A strong focus on meticulousness and adherence to established processes, combined with the ability to integrate project management charts and tools into daily tasks to ensure clarity and alignment.Accountability and Timely Delivery: A track record of taking ownership of responsibilities and consistently delivering results in a timely manner, while maintaining a results-oriented approach.Continuous Improvement Attitude: Proactive identification of opportunities for improvement, seeking effective solutions, and demonstrating a commitment to achieving excellence in all aspects of the role.Proficiency in English: Strong written and spoken communication skills in English to effectively engage with customers and convey information clearly.Learning Administration SupportManagement of courses, creating courses, classes, curricula, certifications, and enrolling users using the registration desk, individually or batch processes (Prescriptive Rule), and creating audience types.Uploading various course contents such as (SCORM, AICC, documents, and Videos) into LMS, attaching it to the learning event, and validating it on different platforms such as Windows, Mac, and Android (Mobile devices).Management of job roles, creating roles, and assigning them to end users based on business requirements.Management of workspace, creating new workspaces, creating workspace pages using HTML, linking courses into the workspace, and enabling access for end users.Management of Pathway, Plan, Skills, Insights, and Groups in the Degreed platform.Proficient in supporting different LMS platforms like Saba, Degreed, Xyleme, and SuccessFactors.Communicate with various clients as needed to define requirements for a variety of training reports.Recommend training solutions through personal experience and feedback from clients to improve the current structure of offerings.Backup and troubleshoot material hosted on the LMS.Prepare, deliver, and manage reports that address existing and future issues related to LMS data.Prepare, deliver, and manage reports as requested from various business departments.Documentation SupportDevelop and maintain training and job aids for users (learners, instructors, and business unit administrators) of the system.Involve or contribute to creating and maintaining business project process and governance documents.Contribute to creating quality-related documents.Quality AssuranceAdhering to the quality process such as peer audit and manual testing of assets pre-and post-go-live.Contribute to creating new quality processes and documents.Desirable Skills/ExperiencePrevious involvement in implementing T&D or L&D development programs.Proficiency with tools such as Workday for HR management, Smartsheet/Excel for project and data management, and Zoom for virtual collaboration.Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience working within an LMS environment (Preferred: Saba Cloud or Degreed or Xyleme).Experience with all aspects of learning program management preferred.Experience communicating with various customer groups at different levels.Ability to communicate how the training program supports business needs.Build productive working relationships with the business unit you support.Communicate effectively with strong business writing skills.Proficiency or ability to gain proficiency in eLearning software.Proficiency in training curriculum development preferred.Effective organization and time management skills.Excellent time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize effectively.Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry, market dynamics, and major AZ business drivers.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to work independently.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Excel, PowerPoint; Smartsheet experience required.
Knowledge of leadership learning principles and design process.
