WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to oversee various projects within Kerrygold Park. They will have responsibility for the co-ordination and roll-out of all new items (Packaging and product) into Kerrygold Park and will liaise directly with site stakeholders. They will work across all functions in Kerrygold Park to ensure the smooth introduction of all new projects. They will also assist with factory trials, customer visits, and will have a strong interaction with the Central Innovation Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent organizational skills, and experience in the food industry.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Project Planning and Execution
1. Develop comprehensive internal project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
2. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
3. Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to meet objectives.
2. Team Interactions
1. Lead and motivate project teams, providing clear direction and support.
2. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
3. Conduct weekly project meetings to track progress and resolve issues.
3. Stakeholder Communication
1. Maintain regular communication with external and internal stakeholders.
2. Provide detailed project reports and updates to the Head of Commercials.
3. Manage expectations and ensure stakeholder satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Coordinating and Overseeing Trials
1. Plan and communicate the details of trial to internal stakeholders.
2. Ensure alignment on timings and resources.
3. Align resources at the line.
4. Document and record the outcomes.
5. Factory Visits
1. Support the Commercial team & Office Manager with visits.
2. Facilitate factory tours.
3. Present KGP Customer Presentation, as required.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Food Science, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of project management experience in the food industry.
* Proven track record of managing projects from initiation to completion.
* Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control standards.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
* Demonstrate a high degree of personal integrity and professionalism.
* Possess good communication, planning, and organisational skills.
* A passion for food.
* Good knowledge of dairy manufacturing and/or butter products.
* Good Communication and Presentation skills.
* Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
