Supply Chain Inventory Manager - Hardware
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Inventory Manager to join a leading company within the hardware industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on the business while working closely with the Managing Director and managing a team of two replenishment planners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the end-to-end supply chain inventory process, ensuring optimal stock levels and efficient replenishment strategies.
2. Oversee and develop a team of two replenishment planners, driving performance and continuous improvement.
3. Work closely with key stakeholders to monitor inventory turnover, demand planning, and stock forecasting.
4. Implement and manage the introduction of a new ERP system to replace the current Excel-based planning and purchasing system, improving efficiency and accuracy across the business.
5. Provide strategic guidance on inventory management, cost control, and supplier relationships.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory planning with broader business objectives.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in supply chain and inventory management, ideally within the retail or hardware industry.
2. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a small team.
3. Strong background in implementing or upgrading ERP systems within a business environment.
4. Excellent analytical skills, with a strong focus on improving processes and driving efficiencies.
5. Retail sector experience is highly desirable.
