Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Leads end-to-end Medical Strategy in global and international (mainly EU) projects. This includes sourcing and leveraging scientific studies and clinical data; crafting strategic medical narratives, and developing high-quality scientific content for promotional and educational activities, ensuring all deliverables comply with the regulatory guidelines.
* Serves as the strategic medical lead for agency of record (AOR) and digital agency of record (DAOR) accounts.
* Supports cross-functional teams providing timely and actionable scientific direction for planning and creative purposes.
* Acts as go-to source of knowledge and expertise on disease state, treatment categories, clinical evidence, in the relevant therapeutic areas, offering strategic expertise and guidance.
* Engages with clients, including marketing, medical affairs, and regulatory functions.
* Participates to virtual/hybrid or physical meetings and workshops with external stakeholders including clients, HCPs, patient’s advocacies.
* Engages with HCPs and KOLs to support marketing or medical affairs projects (e.g. Advisory Boards).
* Leads the mentoring, training, and workload management of interns and junior resources.
* Participates to new business development activities, including RFPs and competitive pitches.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
* MD or PharmD or PhD in Biology/Molecular Biology/Biotechnology
* 5-10 years of experience in the role in international/global healthcare agencies
* Experience of Rx brand launches in global and EU markets
* Experience in multiple therapeutic areas including Oncology, CNS, Rare Diseases
* English native speaker; proficiency in Italian and other EU languages is a plus.
