Job Title:Admissions Quality Officer for International MarketsDepartment:IR0003 Marketing and AdmissionsReporting to:Admissions ManagerThe Admissions Quality Officer for International Markets will report directly to the Admissions Manager and will have a high level of day-to-day autonomy in discharging his/her responsibilities. They will be responsible for the administration in relation to the quality assurance around the admission activities for International Markets. Responsibilities: Evaluate and execute admission decisions on standard applicant files and comply with the College’s quality assurance standards in line with the Quality Assurance HandbookProvide a high quality and flexible admissions service ensuring all applications are assessed and processed in line with the department’s application policies, procedures and ensuring SLAs or KPIs are adhered to for all applicants including partners and agents. This will include but not be limited to: Assessing applications and arranging interviews where necessaryMaking decisions on standard applications and issuing offers where appropriateWorking with the Academics in the School to obtain decisions on non-standard applicationsUpdating and maintaining applicant data on the College’s CRM systemEnsure that Admissions quality standards conform with best practice nationally and internationally Responsible for ensuring the administration is accurate and ensuring appropriate recording and storage of QA Admission records and associated documentationEnsuring a customer service ethos is included in all processesEnsuring all enquiries are prioritised appropriately and responded to in a supportive, inclusive and professional manner and in line with the departmental policies and processesProvision of timely and regular reports to senior management and academic management with up-to-date statistics and analysis of student admissions (e.g. Admission reports, Exemption analysis reports etc.)Conduct audits and compile reports on summary of findingsSupport the recruitment and administration team if necessary during peak periodsAdditional administrative tasks as delegated by managementProvide support and play a role in the College’s internal and external reviews by quality assurance agencies (e.g. institutional reviews, delegated authority reviews)Attendance at open day events and information sessions where required Performance Requirements in the Role:Report writing capabilities to meet the expectations of audiences within higher education external agencies, both nationally and internationallyPreparing and maintaining all records, reports and files in accordance with agreed proceduresAbility to communicate information in an effective, concise and tactful manner, both orally and in writingTo work flexibly and responsibly and undertake any other duties relevant to the level of the postAbility to organise and manage projects successfully to completion setting and delivering on clear and effective objectives against which work can be plannedAbility to adhere to the department’s SLAs with agents, partners and studentsAbility to take significant initiative and to work independently as appropriateDealing with staff, students and external agencies in a courteous and professional manner.Assistance with any tasks allocated by the Admissions Manager.
