We are looking for an experienced quality assurance professional with a track record of delivering PC compatibility services on both in development & live titles.
In this role, you will contribute to the definition and then support the implementation of PC Requirements for Amazon Games in close collaboration with development teams, functional QA, and hardware providers.
It's an opportunity to drive and set a quality benchmark for Amazon Games releases on PC through test strategies, test executions & defect reporting.
Key job responsibilities:
Contribute to the definition of PC Requirements for Amazon Games titles, based on market evolution and competitive intelligence.Plan & deliver complete testing coverage, and ensure the reporting of PC specific defects with high accuracy and efficiency, on assigned projects.Provide project status reports, highlighting defect patterns, identifying submission risks, and recommendations.Constantly self-review defects diversity, their quality and accuracy in providing actionable insights for Production teams.Support & train QA partners on efficient debugging and test coverage of PC specific areas, defect impact analysis, and root cause analysis for PC specific defects.Partner with Productions, propose and advocate for industry standards implementations for PC specific features.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Significant experience in QA, in the Games industry, with evidenced Triple A HD titles testing.
- Strong knowledge of the PC platform, PC technology and its impact on games.
- Experience in shipping titles on PC from a QA execution position.
- Deep knowledge of QA test practices for the full development life cycle, including test strategy definition, test plans & test cases creation, JIRA management, resource investment and test executions monitoring.
- Excellent English written and verbal skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements.
- Experience in communicating with development teams across all job functions to collect feature design intentions and quality expectations and translate that into test strategy and test plans.
