Senior IT Recruitment Consultant with an interest in AI/ML ESG & Sustainability at ACCPRO
About the Role
We are partnered with a client who are seeking a highly skilled HR Data Analytics Lead to transform raw HR data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. This role is perfect for a data expert who thrives on extracting, analysing, and visualising large datasets—no prior HR experience required. If you’re a Data Scientist, Analyst, or HR Data Specialist with a passion for turning numbers into compelling stories, this is your opportunity to shape how we understand and optimise our workforce.
You will be the driving force behind our people analytics strategy, building dashboards, automating reporting, and uncovering trends in talent acquisition, retention, performance, and workforce planning. Your work will empower HR and business leaders to make data-driven decisions that enhance organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop & Implement Analytics Solutions: Build data models, KPIs, and interactive dashboards (Power BI, Tableau) to answer critical HR and business questions.
* Extract & Analyse People Data: Mine HR datasets (e.g., recruitment, turnover, performance, skills gaps) to identify trends and provide predictive insights.
* Automate & Optimise Reporting: Reduce manual efforts by creating scalable data pipelines (using SQL, Alteryx, or similar) and self-service reporting tools.
* Drive Data-Driven Decision-Making: Partner with HR and business leaders to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
* Present with Impact: Communicate complex findings in simple, visually compelling ways to non-technical stakeholders.
* Upskill HR Teams: Share best practices in data analytics to foster a culture of data literacy within HR.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience: Proven background in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science, ideally with exposure to HR/people data (though HR domain knowledge is not essential).
* Technical Skills:
* Advanced Excel, SQL, and data transformation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Python, R).
* Knowledge of statistics, predictive modelling, and data governance.
* Mindset:
* Self-starter who can own projects end-to-end with minimal supervision.
* Problem-solver who enjoys digging into complex datasets to uncover insights.
* Storyteller who can present data in a clear, impactful way.
* Education: Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
