Title and Summary
Director, Global Product Management, Credit Risk Innovation
The Advanced Analytics team drives Credit Risk solutions and products at a globally scalable level and provides value to the various parts of the credit lifecycle value chain. Developing relevant solutions that solve our customer’s credit risk while leveraging Mastercard assets is a key differentiator to grow revenue for our retail and commercial clients. To this end, developing and managing a suite of product solutions through internal and external partnerships, creative constructs, solid frameworks, and executable roadmaps are crucial drivers for commercialization and business impact.
Role:
1. Find new product opportunities to grow the credit risk portfolio and enhance the GTM of current product sets.
2. Interpret and apply program vision and strategy to product strategy and roadmap for the Products they manage, clearly communicating it to key stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
3. Leverage the Studio framework to manage the delivery of ongoing innovation and enhancements to focus Products, ensuring that Products are easy to deploy and deliver a great experience during operation.
4. Demonstrate depth of knowledge of their Product and the ecosystem in which it operates (e.g. regulatory, legal, technology, competitive environment). Apply this knowledge to the development of winning Product strategies.
5. Demonstrate awareness of Mastercard's broader Product offering and the ability to leverage Products from other business areas to augment Product capabilities.
6. Drive the delivery of key product enhancements and partner with Guild members to deliver (e.g. CX&D, Product Management – Technical).
7. Understand the Software Development Lifecycle and manage any barriers or obstacles to deliver capabilities on time and budget in partnership with the Product Management-Technical Guild.
8. Leverage data to quickly identify Product performance challenges, creating proactive plans to drive usage and revenues. Use data-driven analysis to prioritize resources to deliver against the plan.
9. Lead cross-functional teams (e.g. Product, Product Management-Technical, CX&D) in the development of business requirements to achieve Product objectives.
10. Provide regular coaching and feedback to direct reports and partners to grow individual functional skills, experience, and leadership capabilities.
11. Drive institutionalized knowledge through the use of consistent product documentation (e.g., support documents) across the Studio framework.
12. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning by leveraging the learning & development curriculum to augment existing knowledge, skills, and experiences.
