Requirements
The role of the Recruitment and Selection Officer in the SETU Carlow Campus is to manage the administration of the recruitment and selection process in SETU Carlow Campus to the following requirements:
1. Recruitment and Selection is carried out in a timely and expeditious manner.
2. SETU's policies and procedures with regard to recruitment and selection are adhered to.
3. SETU's commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion is reflected and promoted in the recruitment and selection of staff.
4. Other legislative requirements (e.g., GDPR, FOI) and collective agreements are adhered to.
Essential Criteria
Have obtained at least Grade D3 in five subjects in the Leaving Certificate Examination (higher, ordinary, applied or vocational programmes) or equivalent, or have passed an examination at the appropriate level within the QQI qualifications framework which can be assessed as being of a comparable to Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent or higher, or have appropriate relevant experience which encompasses equivalent skills and expertise.
Desirable Criteria
1. Have a relevant Honours degree or equivalent professional qualification.
2. Have at least three years relevant experience in recruitment and selection and at an appropriate level.
Salary: Senior Staff Officer Salary Scale €55,643 - €67,980
