Job DescriptionAramark is currently recruiting for a Cafe Supervisor* to join our team in Dublin.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Manager and will assist in the management of the site and employees, deputizing in the absence of the respective management team.Job ResponsibilitiesTo ensure the smooth running of service and to make sure front of house is supervised, well stocked, clean & tidy and well-staffed.In conjunction with the Assistant Manager to secure a safe and efficient operation on a day-to-day basis.To be responsible on a day-to-day basis for the control, reconciliation and security of the cash takings, floats and cash reconciliation sheets.
This should also include regular cash and safe checks carried out throughout the week.
In conjunction with the cashier control clerk.Assist the Assistant Manager/Manager at end of week period to complete weekly company bookwork as required.Completed open & closing checklist for service on a daily basisAssist the assistant manager at end of month period to complete monthly company bookwork as required.
Including Stocktaking and reconciliation of hospitality etc.To ensure all company HACCP & ISO records are taken on a daily basis in line with company procedures with completion by yourself and delegation to other members of staff.Along with the assistant Manager ensure efficient utilisation of materials, food and equipment by.Reporting equipment defects to the facilities department and initiating repairs as required.Complete staff rotas and holiday request forms in a timely manner.Assist with the monitoring of the food records and equipment as laid down in Company Policy.Check the quality and quantities of food during delivery, preparation and service.Assist in the investigation of complaints in respect of the catering service and take corrective action.Deal with minor customer related complaints in the prescribed manner; bring them to the attention of the Manager.
*QualificationsPrevious supervisor experienceTwo years' experience in retail environmentExperience in a similar environment.Customer service experienceFood Hygiene certificate and experienceAbility to lead, motivate and form effective working relationships with team membersExcellent communication and customer service skills.Flexibility regarding shifts and weekend work and ability to work on own initiative.Strong knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP.Commitment and self-motivationConfident and business-like appearanceExcellent English
