Exciting opportunity for a Test Manager responsible for managing the Test Team on a day to day basis across a range of regulatory, operational, on/offboarding or technology projects.
About this Role:
This role will be responsible for managing the Test Team on a day to day basis across a range of regulatory, operational, on/offboarding or technology projects. They will have responsibility for overall test processes, templates, tools and quality. It will report directly to the Head of Project delivery and form part of the overall Change Department alongside the BA, PM and PMO Teams.
The test team is based in Shannon and the Change & leadership is based in Dublin so willingness to travel is required at times.

Key Responsibilities
1. Management & development of the Test TeamDefining objectives, performance reviews and day to day management of the teamDeveloping the team and mapping out progression pathsCross training the team to ensure minimum levels of capability across topicsManagement of defects/failures & root cause analysis
2. Ownership of test qualityUnderstanding the business processes to ensure that the test coverage is appropriateIntroduction of Test Automation Tools to reduce cost of testing and build in qualityOwnership of test methodology, documentation and toolsOversight and trend analysis on defects/failures
3. Enterprise Change Planning & DeliveryEnsure that the team is fully utilised and that resource assignments are clear for the PM teamHave a holistic oversight of testing execution across the Change Programme and report on status using data & stats to demonstrate quality / issuesPerform risk management and mitigation activities to ensure quality and timeliness of deliveryTrack test costs of projectsEscalate issues in a timely fashionRisk analysis during test closure and readiness assessment of transition to BAU
4. Serve as a key member of the Change Assessment TeamCompleting feasibility or complexity assessments as part of pre project workContributing to high level planningReviewing and contributing to business cases and solution design proposals
Essential Skills & Experience
5. Candidates should be highly professional, self-motivated with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
6. Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Test Manager in Financial Services/Insurance
7. Experienced in managing and developing a team of testers
8. Experience in implementing test automation
9. Significant experience and knowledge of testing in a retail mortgage servicing business
10. Experience working with technical and business teams and C-suite
11. Experienced in MS Office suite
12. Thorough understanding and knowledge of quality assurance processes, standards, methodologies, and tools
13. Ability to take a 'Hands On' approach where required
14. Strong understanding of all aspects of SDLC
15. Experience leading and directing teams in a fast paced, pressurised environment across multiple locations

17. Professional Qualification in testing minimum ISEB level 2
