Offer DescriptionApplications are invited for a temporary post of a Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 within the School of Biosystems and Food Engineering. Job Reference Number: 018175 The Co-Centre for Sustainable Food Systems encompasses a research programme of oriented basic and applied research in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and social sciences across three jurisdictions - the Republic of Ireland (ROI), Northern Ireland (NI), and Great Britain (GB) - with the aim of directly assisting the development and competitiveness of industry, enterprise, and employment across the Island of Ireland (IOI).
The Co-Centre is building on the shared objectives of nine leading agri-food educational and research institutions in Ireland and the UK to develop a robust, resilient, and sustainable food system that meets changing consumer demands.
This position will be embedded in the Food Systems Data Modelling Platform, which is addressing the complex and interconnected factors influencing sustainability, resilience, and effectiveness of the food system on the Island of Ireland.
POST DOC LEVEL 1 Salary: €44,847 - €51,313 Per annum
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
