The Investment Operations Senior Analyst is responsible for the successful and accurate completion of the daily processing requirements for various Alternative Funds and providing support to the various departments, whilst strictly adhering to established departmental policies and procedures required to process Alternative Funds. This group will assume responsibility for daily support of, and technology solutions for, the Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency and Financial Reporting Departments.
What you’ll do:
1. Responsible for maintenance of loan asset master information on Geneva Fund Accounting system;
2. Review and process Bank Debt related activities including: pay-downs, borrowings, interest payments, rate resets and rollovers using WSO (Wall Street Office) and Geneva (Fund Accounting system).
3. Responsible for maintenance of loan asset master information on Geneva Fund Accounting system;
4. Communicate and coordinate information between investment managers, agent banks and accounting teams in a timely and effective manner.
5. Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting as required;
6. Responsible for maintenance of static level data across the various platforms that impact underlying transparency for administrative services and client deliverables;
7. Gain understanding of current solutions and make recommendations for future solutions to enhance SEI’s outsourcing services;
8. Actively participate in project plans associated with solution development and implementation based upon agreed business requirements ;
9. Query, problem and error resolution on a timely basis (with documentation);
10. Facilitate communication between departments in Dublin and the U.S;
11. Maintain a good working relationship with external clients as well as with internal units within SEI;
12. Strictly adhere to established departmental processing procedures and controls;
13. Work on Projects / Adhoc tasks as required.
14. Assists in training new team members.
What you bring to the table:
15. 1-3 years’ experience in Fund operations with experience in Alternatives / Hedge Funds to include
Knowledge of Geneva and/ or similar Fund Accounting systems
Knowledge of bank debt processing functionality using the Geneva fund accounting system, WSO etc.
Knowledge of the Syndicated or Private Debt Loan Market
Knowledge of various security types
16. Third level qualifications (Business, Finance or IT related fields) desirable
