We are recruiting a Duty Manager to join our team in the Marqette. The new colleague will work alongside an amazing General Manager that has colleague growth & training at the heart of what he does.
The ideal candidate will:
1. Have at least 1 year of previous experience as a manager or similar
2. Have an outgoing and friendly personality
3. Have excellent customer service skills
4. Be a born people person and leader
5. Be proficient in written and spoken English
6. Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, and work well under pressure
General duties will include, but are not limited to:
1. Training and development of staff
2. Managing the day-to-day operations of the Food Hall
3. Administration, cash controls, and implementation of all HACCP and any other required training
4. Roster and stock controls
5. Dealing with any problems that may arise on a daily basis and reporting these to the General Manager
6. Ensuring all staff comply with Company policy and procedures
7. Providing and implementing a fast, friendly, and efficient level of customer service to enhance the overall customer experience in the restaurant
8. Providing ongoing staff training and motivation and developing the skills of restaurant employees
9. Providing ongoing supervision of all service, presentation, and dining areas
