Tax Manager | TV and Film Sector | Dublin 2Our client, a reputable firm in Dublin is seeking a Tax Manager to join its corporate tax group. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional tax advisory services to the firm's extensive Film and Television client-base. With major Hollywood Film Studios, leading independent film production companies, and some of the largest Television Production companies in both the UK and the USA as clients, the Tax Manager will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality services and help the firm capitalize on new opportunities.What's On Offer —A 35-hour working week with flexibility around the core hours of 10am-4pmAgile working policy giving you the option to work from home for up to 3 days per week25 days annual leave. This increases in line with length of service. On 1 January, after 5 years’ service, the entitlement will be increased by 7 hours (as long as you have been a manager for 5 years)In addition, employees are entitled to buy or sell up to 5 days holiday a yearContributory pension scheme (The firm will contribute 5% of salary on a matched basis with employee from their date of joining)Life assurance cover of 4 x annual salaryWorking from home allowance of €27 a monthEligibility for the firm’s Profit-Sharing Plan that runs from October to September each year. The scheme enables staff to share in the profits of the firm. Payment is usually c€1,000. Paid in DecemberEmployee referral scheme. Assistant Manager level and below, including support staff, will attract a referral reward of €5,000, Manager level or above, will attract a referral reward of €10,000New client referral scheme. Members of staff introducing a new client to the firm have the potential to receive a referral payment of up to 10% of the first year’s total feesEligibility for the discretionary bonus scheme. This is based on both individual performance and firm performancePrivate Medical – entitled to join on successful completion of probationary periodPaid travel expenses when working at offices other than your contracted officeA commitment to ED&I with the opportunity to join various people network groups and be part of the growing ED&I network.Main Responsibilities —Review and submit Film, Television and Video Game Tax Credit ClaimsAdvise clients on the conditions for qualifying for Film & Television and Video Game Tax Credit ClaimsAdvise on Production Structures and review structure documentation to ensure complianceManage the corporation tax affairs of other companies and groups within the film sector and their growing numbers of clients that are non-Film/TV relatedDeliver high-quality tax advisory services to clients on a wide range of issues across all tax heads to a wide cross section of sectors in Ireland and across their global Nexia networkAbout you —At least degree-level educationRelevant professional qualification (ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA)Previous experience at Manager level in a tax role, preferably in a Top 20 firmExperience of working with clients in the Creative Sector would be an advantage, though not essentialSound like something that's of interest?
