Counsellor Therapist
Counsellors are required to join Cpl Healthcare in the delivery of counselling services to children on a sessional basis in various counties across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Adhere to the Code of Ethics of relevant accrediting bodies
* Attend professional supervision while providing counselling
* Ensure consent and referral forms are complete and signed by parents
* Complete initial assessments to gather information as appropriate
* Issue summary reports summarising interventions and strategies
* Maintain professional interactions at all times
* Engage in robust data protection to keep sensitive information confidential
* Participate in quality assurance exercises and support evaluation processes
Requirements:
* Hold a recognised qualification at Level 7 (primary degree) or higher in a human science, accompanied by an accredited qualification in counselling or psychotherapy
* Qualification must be recognised by designated accrediting bodies
* Minimum 2 years of supervised experience providing counselling for children
* OR hold a professional accredited qualification in child and adolescent counselling with 1 year of supervised experience
* Complete introduction to Children's First e-learning programme
* Hold valid professional indemnity insurance
* Operate as a limited company
