Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee all financial activities for the company's operations in Ireland, Portugal, and Spain.
* Supervise and lead the accounting teams in Spain and Portugal, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
* Track financial performance and provide key insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements in all three regions.
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
* Collaborate with senior management to refine financial procedures and enhance operational efficiency.
* Offer guidance and support to the accounts team, ensuring consistency in financial practices across different locations.
* Conduct financial audits and assessments, identifying areas for improvement.
* Contribute to financial strategy development and decision-making to support company expansion.
* Remain adaptable and proactive in handling ad-hoc financial challenges.
Requirements:
* Fluent in English (C1 level), with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Motivated and ambitious accountant eager to contribute to a rapidly growing online business.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, compliance, and tax regulations across Ireland, Portugal, and Spain.
* Experience using Xero or similar accounting software.
* Proven ability to work remotely and coordinate effectively with a distributed team.
* Comfortable working closely with senior management to drive financial and business improvements.
* Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities across different locations.
* Willingness to travel as needed to collaborate with teams in Spain, Portugal, and Ireland.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex financial data.
* Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
