VISUAL ARTS TEACHER – 1-YEAR CONTRACT

Nord Anglia International School, Dublin, is seeking an inspiring and innovative Visual Arts Teacher to join our team for a 1-year contract. The role:
We are looking for a qualified Visual Arts Teacher to deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons aligned with the PYP and MYP frameworks. Your responsibilities will include:
* Inspiring Artistic Expression: Teaching dynamic visual arts lessons that develop technical skills, creativity, and critical thinking while encouraging students to explore their artistic voice.
* Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborating with colleagues to design and implement interdisciplinary units of inquiry that integrate visual arts into broader learning experiences across subjects.
* Student-Centred Learning: Providing tailored guidance and support to individual students, fostering their confidence and helping them achieve their full artistic potential.
* Promoting Art in the Community: Acting as an ambassador for visual arts by organizing exhibitions, showcases, and community art projects that celebrate student work and creativity.
* Extracurricular Contributions: Leading or supporting after-school art clubs, competitions, and collaborative art installations that enrich the school’s creative culture.
The Successful Candidate will possess:
* A recognized teaching qualification with experience teaching Visual Arts at the PYP and/or MYP levels.
* A deep understanding of the IB curriculum and a commitment to inquiry-based learning and artistic exploration.
* Strong organizational and leadership skills, capable of managing art projects and events that inspire students and engage the wider community.
* The ability to create an inclusive, supportive environment where students of all artistic abilities feel encouraged to express themselves.
* A passion for fostering creativity, resilience, and global-mindedness through the visual arts.
