Communications Officer Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a suitably skilled Communications Officer to join their team. The duration of this post is 12 months initially with possible extensions thereafter. This role will be Flexible/Remote Working role, but the successful candidate must be available to attend client sites when required. Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €30.47 per hour based on an annualised salary of €55,644. You will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays. Roles & Responsibilities: Support the management of Communication campaigns for a portfolio of projects dependent on the stage individual projects are at plus level of work commitment required. This is to ensure efficient use and maximisation of resource expertise and availability for the duration of the contract. Play a key role in the development of high quality, accessible information assisting with all aspects of content development to meet agreed quality standards through appropriate communications channels. Support management & marketing of resources, services, engagements and events across functions as agreed. Report to a number of stakeholder groups, through the primary channel of a designated nominee per project. Support general administrative tasks as required and carry out other duties within the scope of the post as identified within key functions. Eligibility Criteria: A track record of 1.5+ years successfully supporting communications for the delivery of projects and programmes within an organisation, preferably (but not necessarily) for a Health Sector Organisation, and this must be clearly demonstrated in the submission. Experience of supporting a broad range of communications such as Information Production, Web and Social Media, PR and Media Relations, Marketing and Awareness Experience of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, and this must be clearly demonstrated in the submission. Skills & Competencies: Display sufficient leadership, high level of communication and interpersonal skills including liaising with multiple stakeholders. Demonstrate experience in working collaboratively with stakeholders and partners to ensure that the impact of communications are maximised. Demonstrate good ICT, presentation and report writing skills. Demonstrate an ability to support the development and delivery of programme communications plans. Demonstrate strong planning & organising skills including structuring and organising own workload and that of others for the delivery of agreed objectives. Demonstrates good problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills. Demonstrates ability to work within a team showing flexibility and willingness to adapt.
