This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands digital trends, and knows how to create engaging content that drives brand awareness and customer engagement.
As part of the team, you will create and manage omnichannel content across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn and our global website www.kilkennydesign.com ensuring our brands maintain a strong and dynamic social presence.
You will work closely with the Senior Brand & Content Manager to bring our storytelling to life through creative, high-quality content that excites our customer driving sales and awareness.
This is an exciting role for someone who is passionate about Irish design, supporting local and retail.
The candidate will have the opportunity to work across our Kilkenny Design domestic market, support growth of our tourism and USA market and build our social movement on Champion Green.
Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Strategy Develop engaging, on-brand content for social media, including videos, reels, graphics, and photography for our domestic and tourist brands and markets.
Plan, shoot, and edit short-form video content tailored for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.
Support the execution of the social media content calendar, ensuring content is fresh, relevant, and aligned with key campaigns.
Write compelling and brand-aligned captions, headlines, and social copy.
Research and implement social media trends, ensuring we stay ahead of digital shifts.
Manage and direct our retail team on creating in-house user-generated content such as fashion, gifting etc.
Working closely with the marketing design team for any graphic and video content requests for social media.
Social Media Management & Engagement Publish and schedule posts across various social platforms, ensuring consistency in brand tone and messaging.
Monitor social media engagement, responding to comments, messages, and customer.
Build our Kilkenny Design communities. Manage our shopping centre location partners, briefing relevant social media content to drive awareness and footfall to our stores.
Assist in influencer collaborations and user-generated content campaigns and customer interactions in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
Support across paid social requirements & agency briefing.
Omnichannel Content Marketing Support across retail content marketing including crafting in store radio briefs, signage requests and managing digital screens in store.
Lead out on retail pop up campaigns and in store brand activations with support from Senior Brand Manager.
Brief website graphics and landing page updates.
Support on brand storytelling online.
Brief ezine content as required.
Support PR calendar moments through gift list curation.
Champion Green Support key campaigns and initiatives across the year for Champion Green.
Build our Champion Green social community through regular and consistent content and audience engagement.
Manage website content updates at key times in year.
Performance & Insights Track and analyse content performance using social media analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Experiment with new content formats and engagement strategies based on data-driven insights.
Collaboration & Innovation Work closely with the Senior Brand & Content Creator, wider marketing team, and retail teams to align content with business goals.
Assist in photoshoots, product launches, events and other brand activations as needed.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging digital platforms.
Essential skills A strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Experience in creating video and image-based content (filming, editing, and post-production).
Proficiency in tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom) or similar editing software.
Excellent storytelling skills with a creative eye for aesthetics and branding.
Strong writing and grammar skills with the ability to craft engaging and on-brand social captions.
A passion for digital trends and a keen sense of what makes content shareable.
A knowledge and interest in retail operations and digital.
