We are currently recruiting for a Deputy HR Director to join our established HR Team.
Job Title: Deputy HR Director
As Deputy Human Resources Director, you will play a key role in shaping an exceptional employee experience that reflects the values and standards of Adare Manor. This dynamic leadership role focuses on fostering a positive workplace culture, optimising HR operations, and driving strategic people initiatives that enable our team to deliver unparalleled service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership & Team Development:
o Provide coaching and guidance to department leaders, strengthening their ability to effectively lead and support their teams.
o Collaborate with the Learning & Development Manager to design and implement impactful growth and performance programmes.
o Champion a culture of feedback, supporting leaders in setting performance goals and addressing development needs.
o Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, offering tailored solutions for talent development and team dynamics.
* Workplace Culture & Employee Wellbeing:
o Foster a workplace environment that promotes open communication, collaboration, and alignment with Adare Manor's values.
o Lead the employee wellbeing agenda, embedding principles into daily activities and implementing cost-effective, impactful strategies.
o Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention, regularly monitoring key metrics and trends to develop proactive solutions.
* HR Operations & Compliance:
o Oversee HR daily operations, ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies.
o Manage all reward and benefit programmes, ensuring they remain competitive and reflective of our Employee Value Proposition.
o Partner with the Talent team to deliver a seamless and elevated candidate experience, supporting recruitment and manning guidelines to meet business needs.
o Maintain accurate employee records and oversee the preparation of regular reports on key HR metrics, such as retention and engagement.
* Strategic Initiatives:
o Collaborate with the Director of HR to define and execute strategies aligned with Adare Manor's vision and business goals.
o Lead cross-departmental HR projects that enhance operational excellence and elevate employee satisfaction.
o Drive the development and implementation of Adare Manor's Employer Brand, ensuring our position as a preferred luxury employer.
o Anticipate future workforce trends and design talent strategies to maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.
* Employee Relations:
o Act as a key point of contact for resolving employee concerns, disputes, and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
o Provide ongoing coaching to leaders on handling sensitive employee matters with professionalism and care.
* Human Resources team:
o Manage and mentor the HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
o Serve as the primary HR leader in the absence of the Director of HR, ensuring seamless department operations.
o Promote an inclusive culture where all team members feel valued and empowered to contribute to Adare Manor's success.
Required Qualifications:
* A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; CIPD qualification is highly desirable.
* Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally within the luxury hospitality or service industry.
* Deep understanding of employment law and HR best practices, with a track record of ensuring compliance.
* Demonstrated success in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business goals.
* Strong expertise in employee relations.
* Experience managing benefits and wellbeing initiatives.
* Proficiency in HR systems, with strong analytical and reporting skills.
