OverviewAn Opportunity for a Site Foreman to join the Life Science team in Dublin 15.
The Site Manager is responsible to the Project Manager and works closely with the QS.
They are responsible for the management of the on-site programme in respect of delivery, workmanship, and safety.
The Site Manager ensures that adequate and proper labour, plant, materials, and subcontractor's resources are available to meet the requirements of the contract.

ResponsibilitiesEstablish and monitor key stage programmesSet up the siteActive involvement in HSEQS management on our projects and challenge working practices on site and across our business to ensure continuous improvement in line with our Zero philosophyTake possession of the site, plan and coordinate trades activitiesApply for temporary service connectionsImplement the Project Execution PlanInterpret drawings and specifications and communicate directions to site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliersClose out all issues raised by safety, quality, and environmental reports and auditsInform the QS of any matter for which extra payment may be due or additional costs are involvedBe aware of the conditions of the main contract and the conditions attendances of our contract with SubcontractorsExperiencePharmaceutical project experienceGood written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with colleagues, clients, and third parties, in a warm and persuasive way both formally and informally and able to alter style and method to suit the audienceProven track record of at least ten years within a construction management environment with a similar National/Regional Contractor, with a strong track record of high HSEQS standardsStrong analytical skillsOrganised with good time management and capable of proactive planningComprehensive knowledge and understanding of all the trades required on site, the codes of practice relating to them, and the requirements for them to be able to carry out required worksQualificationsWorking towards an academic and/or a professional industry-related qualificationCSCS for Managers, SMSTS, CDM/PSCS Awareness, BBS, & S5 Q10 internal workshopsFirst Aid at work CertificateLifting SupervisorDriving LicenceDegree or Diploma in a Construction related Subject is desirableAdditional InformationCompetitive SalaryCompany Car or Car Allowance26 days holiday (option to purchase 5 more)Employer pensionCompetitive mileage rateTravel expensesFlexible and remote workingEnhanced parental leaveProfessional and Educational developmentOur people are at the heart of our success and our proposition to them is work with purpose, have time for life, build a career with no limits and surround yourself with great people.
