About the Role
We are looking for a Mechanical Plant Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative OTS team, working on a client site.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure all maintenance, preventive and unplanned of assigned equipment/systems is completed on schedule, within budget, in safe and satisfactory manner and all documentation completed
* Assist in reviewing level of spare parts with respect to requirement/frequency of change outs
* Task management of schedules and resources assigned, monitor progress and quality of assigned tasks
* Maintain awareness of and compliance with cGMP Equipment owner, ensuring spare parts are available and assigned to the correct equipment on SAP
* Manage budget and procurement of day-to-day mechanical and equipment purchases
* Plan improvement and upgrade projects to improve overall reliability and safety
* Liaise with Planner and prioritise work flow Organising plant engineering support for CIP meeting outcomes
* Managing maintenance contractors, technically support them in their work and coordinate work tasks/permits to the correct area owners
* Participate in root cause analysis, deviations and resolution teams
* Carry out Risk Assessments, BBS and BBQ's documenting any potential hazards within the plant and reporting non-conformances and deviations promptly to stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry, ideally with API experience
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, valves, and conveyors
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Knowledge of safety regulations and standards relevant to the industry
