Currently seeking a Financial Accountant who will play a pivotal role in overseeing the office administration and procedures to ensure organisational effectiveness, efficiency and safety. The Financial Accountant will report to the Financial Controller and provide support to the Finance and Management team. The company processes several thousand invoices per month and would like to build on its existing controls and procedures following a successful business reorganisation. This is an exciting opportunity to join the company as it continues to expand its market share.
Key aspects of the role:
1. Assist in preparation of Monthly Management Accounts & Board Reporting Packs
2. Reconcile all balance sheet control accounts including accruals and prepayments
3. Debtor Management and Creditor Management
4. Preparation of month end lead schedules for Group FC
5. Prepare Annual Budgets & Monthly Outlooks
6. Reviewing costs and implementing processes identifying where savings can be made
7. Review margins highlighting improvement opportunities
8. Assist in Statutory Annual Accounts Audits
9. Manage Invoice Financing Facility, Returns & Audits
10. Monitor and report Cash Flow
11. Support Group Financial Controller in building and maintaining strong relationships with the key commercial teams within the business providing relevant, accurate and timely reports
Qualifications and experience required:
1. Qualified ACA
2. 3+ years’ experience in industry or practice dealing with industry clients
3. Ambitious individual with strong communication, organisational and analytical skills
4. Experience with several ERP systems advantageous
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
