Principal Specialist Psychologist
Centric Mental Health has created an exciting and unique opportunity. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Principal Specialist Psychologist to join our dynamic team and become part of a vision that will change how we deliver Primary Care mental health services in Dublin, Ireland (exact location to be agreed with the successful candidate). We are dedicated to providing exceptional, proactive, and outcome-driven healthcare aimed at keeping people of all ages well in their community. To this end, we are expanding our mental health services across our network of Centric Health Primary Care facilities.
The successful candidate will be an experienced practitioner and effective team leader with excellent assessment, individual therapy, and group therapy skills. They will have demonstrated excellence in their ability to develop, deliver, and evaluate mental health care pathways for a variety of presentations including neurodivergence. They will be an experienced supervisor and line manager, highly motivated, organised efficient, and committed to providing the highest quality evidenced-based mental health care.

Specific Job Details:
Location: Dublin (exact location to be agreed)
Contract: Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time
Working Hours: 9.00 am - 18.00 pm (Monday - Friday) Flexible depending on hours worked
Working Pattern: To be agreed (Flexible depending on hours worked)
Salary Range: €109,392 - €126,814 pro rata, (dependent on experience)
Qualifications and Experience:
A university degree or higher diploma/conversion course obtained with first or second-class honours in which Psychology was a major subject (QQI level 8 equivalent).
A post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) in Clinical, Educational or Counselling Psychology, or an equivalent qualification validated by the Department of Health. Candidates are required to submit a copy of their Department of Health Validation with their application where qualifications were obtained outside the Republic of Ireland.
At least eight years of satisfactory professional experience including time spent in post-graduate training in Clinical/Educational/Counselling Psychology and at least three years satisfactory experience in a senior capacity.
Candidates must have the requisite knowledge and ability to fulfill the role, deliver the appropriate services, and to carry out duties assigned by the Clinical Director.
Candidates must have expertise in assessing and diagnosing ADHD and ASD.
Fluent in English (Level B2 Advanced or above).
Desirable:
Chartered Member of the Psychological Society of Ireland.
Demonstrated interest in and passion for the relevant care group, such as membership of the PSI Special Interest Group in Neurodiversity, Autism, etc.
