Job Title: Care Worker
Permanent Contract, 39 hours Location: Clonmel, Co Tipperary
About the Role:
To provide a personal care service to individuals with Intellectual Disability and Mental Health Difficulties within a residential service setting. What We're Looking For:
* QQI Level 5 in Health & Social Care
* Full clean driving licence
* Candidates should have experience of working in a residential care setting
* Candidates should have experience of providing appropriate supports to service users with relevant disability and whose behavior may challenge.
Responsibilities:
1. Promote and actively involved in teamwork, creating a nurturing and supportive environment for the service user.
2. Facilitate and implement a person centered service appropriate to the needs, wishes, and requirements of service users.
3. Provide personal assistance in all aspects of personal care and manual handling, ensuring comfort and hygiene of service users and adhering to safe practice and risk assessments at all times.
Requirements:
If applicable, candidates will need to provide a police certificate for any country they've lived in before moving to Ireland.
Salary:
Starting at point 1 €29,374.44 - point 5 €33,489.47, per annum
