The Product function at EBM is composed of: • Product Management • Program Management • User Experience (UX)
This function is central to driving product innovation and execution. It establishes the frameworks, processes, and governance needed to scale product development while ensuring alignment with business objectives. With a strong growth agenda, our focus is on enhancing product strategy, optimising development workflows, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. This role reports to the Senior Program Management Leader and will be instrumental in shaping program governance, strategic execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
THE ROLE As a Senior Program Manager, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs of work from inception to delivery, ensuring seamless execution across globally distributed, cross-functional teams. This role is critical to ensuring that our R&D & Product efforts are well structured, strategically aligned, and measurable—transforming research initiatives into actionable business value transitioning into the product roadmap and ultimately linked to EBM’s strategic objectives. By working closely with the R&D and Product teams, you will: • Align R&D efforts with business strategy, ensuring research initiatives in AI, forecasting, and data science are integrated into the product roadmap and commercial objectives. • Improve collaboration between R&D and Product teams, fostering transparency and ensuring research findings are translated into scalable product enhancements. • Establish governance and process improvements, embedding operational rigour in R&D workflows while maintaining the agility required for innovation. • Provide leadership with clarity on R&D investments, ensuring measurable outcomes and data-driven decision-making on research priorities
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead cross-functional teams to define, implement, and optimise product and technical workflows for R&D and Product innovation • Establish and drive program governance, ensuring prioritisation frameworks, resource planning, and execution tracking are in place. • Develop scalable program management processes that enhance execution velocity, decision-making, and product development efficiency. • Act as a force multiplier, enabling seamless coordination between R&D, Product, and Engineering teams to accelerate research-to-product translation. • Drive measurable program performance gains, ensuring alignment between research outcomes and business impact. • Facilitate strategic planning and roadmap execution, balancing short-term milestones with long-term innovation objectives. • Advocate for operational excellence, ensuring structured decision-making, stakeholder alignment, and clear communication at all levels. Change Management & Cross-Functional Integration As this role operates at the intersection of Product, R&D, and Engineering, the ability to manage and drive change is critical.â¯â¯ You will: • Enable smooth adoption of new initiatives, ensuring that process improvements and product innovations are embedded effectively. • Bridge gaps between teams, fostering collaboration through structured & communication and clear governance. • Anticipate and manage resistance, ensuring that teams are aligned on strategic goals and equipped for change. • Ensure continuous feedback loops, allowing for iterative improvements and agile adaptation of R&D insights into the Product development process. • Facilitate knowledge sharing, ensuring that learnings from R&D initiatives inform ongoing Product and Engineering efforts. Key Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent practical experience). • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, supporting cross-functional teams in Product, R&D, or engineering environments. • Strong experience using data and metrics to drive decision-making, prioritisation, and continuous improvement. • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in fast-paced environments, balancing strategic and tactical execution. • An understanding of change management methodologies, with proven success in implementing cross-functional transformation programs. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both executive leadership and technical teams. • Proven ability to influence, drive alignment, and manage competing priorities across multiple teams. • Hands-on experience with program governance, risk management, and process optimisation. • A strategic mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and able to navigate complex product and technical challenges.
