About the role:
Responsible for the management and integration of SAP modules with focus on support of Warehouse & Logistics processes. Oversees, defines and monitors critical path activities and resolves issues or escalates issues to the Project Manager / SAP Solution Architect as needed. Communicates and coordinates with other team leads, business leadership, and Project Manager / SAP Solution Architect to ensure appropriate integration of processes and modules across enterprise. Drives the design and implementation of new business processes with organizational structure and required SAP configuration.
This role will be responsible for defining, deploying and managing IT solutions using SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management, GTS and EWM modules and other connected applications like SAP LBN and Nicelabel. We would expect this person to bring expertise in SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management; but learn and support other areas in the Logistics Process as stated in the previous sentence.
Responsibilities
Role Overview:
1. The position will be responsible for day to day issue and incident triage of the SAP S/4 landscape and relevant applications and supporting the implementation of new solutions and business needs. This includes:
2. Provides solution oversight, integration architecture, and architectural governance for product solutions in alignment with the enterprise architecture standards.
3. Understands the business strategy of a particular function/area and works with the team to define business requirements.
4. Accountable for all aspects of SAP solution development, including adherence to Trinseo IT standards in documentation, change/release management and SDLC processes. Accountable for solving complex technical problems and design issues in a timely manner. Supports multiple program and project-level deliverables simultaneously.
5. Responsible for routine operational activities and service delivery including incident management and triage.
Qualifications
Minimum Education Required:
1. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or other related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum Experience Required:
1. 5 - 7 years of hands on experience with enterprise resource planning system (ERP SAP) with at least 1 full life cycle implementations or complex integration projects with experience in configuration and development in SAP S/4HANA Logistics Execution, Warehouse Management and Transportation Management modules.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
1. SAP implementation experience across multiple end-to-end (E2E) business processes in SAP Logistics Execution, Warehouse Management and SAP Transportation Management modules.
2. Experience and working knowledge of SAP GTS, SAP S/4HANA EWM is a big plus.
3. Working knowledge expected on integration with SAP SD and Logistics Execution module (Deliveries / Shipments).
4. Must be a relationship builder and capable of functioning with only limited oversight. Strong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to work effectively internally and externally.
5. Knowledge of project management techniques; PMP and Six Sigma designation is a good plus.
6. Demonstrates hands-on knowledge of Software development SDLC methodologies (e.g., waterfall, agile).
7. Manages ambiguity well. Has a global outlook and develops local expertise while operating effectively in a geographically dispersed organization.
8. Strong enterprise business acumen.
9. Demonstrates strong listening, communications, alliance-building, negotiation, conflict management and influencing skills.
10. This position will support a global business. As such this position will be required to travel and adjust working hours to align with global resources/partners. The ability to establish trust in a virtual work environment is needed.
11. Deep knowledge of SAP ERP functionality; Strong business acumen and domain expertise; Strong program/project management expertise; Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices and techniques.
