As Director of Services, you will shape the future of community services by driving excellence in programme delivery, fostering team engagement, and ensuring that the organisation continues to meet the evolving needs of the community.
What Youll Be Doing Strategic Leadership & Service Development Lead the planning and implementation of high-quality community services aligned with the organisations strategic vision.
Oversee key programmes including family support, counselling, creative therapies, and adult education initiatives.
Foster innovation by developing client-centred services that create meaningful impact and improve quality of life for all stakeholders.
Operational Excellence & Resource Management Implement robust systems and processes to ensure seamless service delivery.
Evaluate programmes regularly to ensure they meet client needs while optimising resources for maximum reach.
Use client feedback to continuously enhance service quality and address unmet demands proactively.
Team Leadership & Culture Building Inspire and motivate a talented team of approximately 30 staff members across diverse service areas.
Promote a positive organisational culture that values collaboration, professional growth, and inclusivity.
Work closely with HR to identify training needs and create development opportunities for staff at all levels.
Community Engagement & Stakeholder Relations Build strong relationships with local agencies, funders, and community partners to enhance service delivery.
Represent the organisation externally to promote its mission and secure funding opportunities.
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including health & safety regulations and data protection standards.
What Were Looking For Were seeking a visionary leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on management skills.
Key qualifications include: A relevant degree or equivalent experience in social care, community development, or related fields.
Demonstrated success in managing teams and delivering impactful services in the non-profit or community sector.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks for charities or community organisations.
Exceptional communication skills to engage with staff, clients, board members, and external stakeholders effectively.
A passion for people-centred service delivery and a commitment to making a difference.
