**About the Job**
AWS Cloud Logistics Warehousing team is looking for a talented, driven, and highly analytical Inventory Controller with demonstrated experience driving process improvement and managing 3rd party vendors.
This individual will be responsible for leading inventory management strategies to maximize customer experience, inventory levels and warehouse capacity utilization. Inventory Management is critical to protecting manufacturing capacity and delivering the end product to our customer at the right time.

Key Job Responsibilities
* Act as point of escalation for vendor related issues
* Perform functional Data Analysis and Reporting for warehouse operations
* Drive Warehousing operational excellence through data driven metrics
* Drive material positioning and availability in multiple warehouses to maximize utilization
* Protect continuity of supply for AWS managed manufacturing
* Drive cross-functional and cross-regional strategic initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency and overall cost structure
* Drive complex business analysis to identify business opportunities to improve internal and external processes
* Work cross-functionally to identify and apply best practices and continuous process improvements
* Provides input on System Integration, User Acceptance and Performance test plans for accuracy and completeness
* Provide scalable solutions for specific issues
* Sets project requirements and drives agendas across internal and external teams
* Provides input on System Integration, User Acceptance and Performance test plans for accuracy and completeness
* Collaborate with IT teams, Implementation Consultants, and Business Stakeholders to capture accurate functional and non-functional requirements
What We're Looking For
* Experience in supply chain
* Experience working within a similar role to Inventory management/warehouse manager/Leader
* Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external teams
* Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
* Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
* Experience with Excel
* Experience working with 3rd Party Vendors
* Understanding transport and wider logistics can be helpful (mainly Air/Sea) but is not essential
