Walton Institute is looking to hire a Postdoctoral Researcher to work on an innovative maritime surveillance system designed to detect and track covert threats using a modular online dashboard. Walton Institute in SETU will lead Research Ireland (SFI)-funded project 'MARSDEN (Adaptive Maritime Guardianship through Advanced Noise Processing)' under the SFI Future Innovator Prize Programme. The project aims to integrate diverse data sources - radar, sonar, and satellite imagery, and employ sophisticated signal processing techniques to analyse complex noise patterns and extract subtle anomalies.
