The Faculty of STEM welcomes applications for the role of Executive Officer who will be part of the core team of the TCD Climate Gateway, an ambitious project led by E3 and the Schools of Engineering and Natural Sciences.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the development of the TCD Climate Gateway and will provide direct administrative support for the Gateway and its core staff and facilitate interactions with climate-involved PIs.
The successful candidate will be directly responsible for communication including call screening and directing, mail delivery and retrieval, organisation of interdepartmental meetings, workshops and procurement.
They will also manage the Gateway calendar and manage timelines.
The successful candidate must demonstrate initiative, flexibility, strong attention to detail, organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to anticipate and deal with problems as they arise.
The successful candidate must interact effectively and courteously with stakeholders at all levels, either virtually, in person or in writing.
Post Status: 2 Year Fixed Term Hours of Post: 17.5 hours per week(0.5 FTE pro rata of full time 1.0 FTE 35 hours per week) Salary: Appointment will be made on the Executive Officer Salary Scale pro rata, part time 0.5 of full time salary 1.0 FTE €32,191 - €50,199 per annum and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
