We are a leading accredited environmental laboratory based in Tullow, Co.Carlow offering high-quality testing services to industries across Ireland. Our laboratory provides comprehensive testing for dust, water, oil, and fuel, serving industries such as manufacturing, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and more. We are seeking a Junior Sales Executive to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in sales within a dynamic and environmentally conscious industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Outreach: Assist the sales team in prospecting, identifying, and contacting potential clients in industries such as transport, construction, manufacturing, and waste management.
2. Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and networking at industry events.
3. Client Relationship Building: Support senior sales representatives in maintaining and growing existing customer accounts by ensuring client needs are met and responding to inquiries.
4. Product Knowledge: Gain an in-depth understanding of the laboratory’s environmental testing services and communicate the benefits to potential clients.
5. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to help identify new sales opportunities.
6. Sales Support: Provide administrative support for the sales process, including preparing proposals, contracts, and quotes.
7. Reporting: Assist in tracking sales progress, client interactions, and maintaining accurate records in the CRM system.
Essential Skills:
1. Education: A degree or equivalent qualification in Environmental Science, Business, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
2. Sales Experience: While not required, any previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role is a bonus. A genuine interest in environmental issues and laboratory services is a plus.
3. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to engage with clients and communicate effectively.
4. Self-motivation: Strong organizational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
5. Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools, MS Office, and other sales tools.
6. Team Player: Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and support senior sales staff as needed.
