Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team in Cork. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, implementation, and completion of electrical engineering projects. They will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and lead electrical engineering projects from inception to completion.
2. Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements.
3. Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met.
4. Monitor project progress and performance, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
5. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to oversee work quality and adherence to specifications.
6. Prepare and present project status reports and updates to stakeholders.
7. Manage project risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
8. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
9. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, providing guidance and support to project team members.
Requirements:
10. Relevant Third Level qualification or proven track record of delivering large-scale projects in a challenging environment.
11. Trade Background preferred but not essential.
12. Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, with a experience managing medium to large-scale projects.
13. Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, components, and materials.
14. Proficiency in project management software and tools (, MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD).
15. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
16. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
17. Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) is preferred.
18. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (, NEC, IEC).
