SQL Developer Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a suitably skilled SQL Developer to join their team. The duration of this post is 6 months initially with the high possibility of extention thereafter. The role is a hybrid working arrangement and is based in Dublin, the successful candidate will be required to attend on site meetings in various locations around Dublin when required. Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an annualised salary of €67,000 - €77,000 based on experience. We are looking for an experienced SQL Developer to support ongoing maintenance and development of their Jira solution. Criteria must include, but is not limited to: Business workflow and architecture background and experience highly rated Must have strong SQL experience working with large datasets Experienceconfiguring Off The Shelf Software for bespoke business needs, including dashboard and report development Communication skills to understand and document end-user requirements (Preferred) Experience with Jira or similar project management tools Responsibilities Database Management: Manage large data imports and bulk updates to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Use SQL to perform complex queries and data manipulation. Jira Configuration: Configure and customize Jira to meet the specific needs of our organization. This includes creating and managing custom workflows, issue types, dashboards, projects and screens. User Management: Administer user accounts, permissions, and groups within Jira. Ensure proper access controls and security settings are maintained. Issue Tracking and Reporting: Create and maintain Jira dashboards, reports, and filters to provide actionable insights. Ensure solutions meet the needs for the programme and stakeholders by gathering and refining reporting requirements. Support and Training: Provide training to both technical and non-technical team members and support to Jira users across the organization. Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly. Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of Jira configurations, processes, and best practices. Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize Jira's performance and scalability. Support project assurance and audit activities where required and ensure that Jira is up to standard.
