We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Enhanced Staff Nurse (RNID) to join our team in Teach Saoirse, Children's Residential House, Nenagh, Co Tipperary.
Contract Type: Full & Part Time Permanent Posts Available
Contract Hours: 37.5 Hours per week (Hours negotiable)
Salary Scale: €40,212 to €53,009 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI's (Long Service Increments)
Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 days pro rata per annum
Overview Of The Post:
To provide residential respite to families of children and young adults with disabilities in North Tipperary. The residential support service will be coordinated by the RRM/Service Coordinator, who will prioritise families to be involved in the service, who agrees with each family the type and level of support to be provided. The Nurse will be supervised by and work closely with the RRM/Service Coordinator. In order to provide a flexible support service, the Nurse will be required to work during evenings and weekends.

The successful candidate will have:
Essential Criteria:
* Have a nursing RNID qualification validated for working in the Republic of Ireland
* Be registered in the Intellectual Disability Nurse Division of the live Register of Nurses kept by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
AND
* 1 Year 16 weeks relevant nursing work experience after graduating
* Successful candidate must confirm annual registration with the NMBI to Enable Ireland.
* Post holder required to maintain your registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland for the duration of your employment and evidence of such registration/renewal must be furnished annually to your Employer.
* Have the clinical and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
* Full clean driver's licence and willingness to drive service transport.
* Basic IT skills.
Desirable Criteria:
* 'D1' license an advantage or be prepared to obtain a 'D' or 'D1' license
* Experience of working with adults or children with disabilities desirable.
* Experience of working within a residential/respite setting an advantage.
