People Consulting partners with clients to drive and evolve their people agenda in a rapidly changing global work environment.
Joining the People Consulting team in EY will provide you with the opportunity to work on some of the most interesting and complex transformation programmes in Ireland. Our team, in partnership with our clients, seeks to ensure the long-term sustainability and embedding of major organisational transformation programmes.
Our work is varied and ambitious; from creating an organisation design that finds effective organisation solutions to embedding cultural and behavioural change across an organisation. We manage communications and stakeholders, plan and implement change journeys, and offer an understanding of the HR structures, practices, and policies required to support the organisation.
We have a number of exciting, client-facing roles for individuals with demonstrable consulting experience in the following areas:

To drive forward the growth of People Consulting, we are seeking experienced strategic workforce planning professionals to join our growing team in Dublin. We have positions at both Manager and Senior Manager level.
The successful candidates will be primarily focused on client delivery. They will manage client engagements and provide best-practice advice to clients on workforce planning and/or other relevant People Consulting service offerings where required. They will also be responsible for supporting the growth of the People Consulting practice in Ireland and generating revenue through business development.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Developing and sustaining client relationships
* Working collaboratively with clients and developing a trusted advisor reputation
* Providing best-practice workforce planning advice and guidance to clients
* Shaping EY’s workforce planning service offering
* Managing more junior resources
* Providing and facilitating development opportunities for individuals at all levels in the practice
* Inputting into People Consulting’s strategy and annual plans
* Supporting recruitment
* Role model inclusive leadership to drive a leading people culture in line with EY values
Skills and Attributes for Success
* Workforce planning skills, including demand and supply analysis, workforce sizing and shaping, developing actionable insights from workforce data
* Understanding of other core People Consulting services, such as organisation design, operating model, change, and talent management
* Professional demeanor, quickly establishing personal credibility and demonstrating expertise
* Ability to support the development and growth of business
* Knowledge of the region in terms of sector presence, existing networks, or relationships
* Strong personal impact and resilience, able to influence and persuade clients and stakeholders
* Practical approach to solving issues and gaining client agreement
* Adept at analyzing complex problems and delivering insightful, practical, and sustainable solutions
* Skilled in facilitating and encouraging collaboration among team members
* Experience of full project lifecycle from concept through to implementation
* Ability to structure and manage projects or programmes of work to meet client expectations
* Strong focus on achieving project/programme goals and objectives
* Ability to overcome issues and barriers
* Up-to-date with key technical and functional skills, and industry knowledge
To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have
* Experience of strategic workforce planning as a consultant or as part of an internal HR team
* 2+ years similar experience
* Experience in building strategic workforce planning capability for organisations
* Proven track record of managing workforce-related projects/programmes through all phases
* Experience in a leadership role; managing teams and being accountable for delivery
* Proven track record of proactively managing stakeholders, including providing constructive challenge
* Demonstrated track record of building client relationships
* Ability to quickly grasp complex business problems and develop appropriate solutions
* Strong analytical capability, comfortable interpreting data
Ideally, You Will Also Have
* An appreciation of data, systems, and technologies used to drive strategic workforce decision-making
* A primary degree and any post-graduate degrees or professional qualifications are desirable but not critical
* Experience of working on projects within a professional services firm, global consultancy firm, or large private/public sector organisations
