Charlene Cooke Healthcare is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join an Adult Community Mental Health team in Tullamore, Co. Offaly. We are looking for a CORU registered Occupational Therapists with demonstrable skills, enthusiasm and compassion to work with service users who have a range of complex mental health needs and who is focussed on supporting service user to recover. Candidate: You will someone who can make a significant contribution to a service users recovery. You will be able to deliver effective and evidenced based mental health treatment to service users who will have varying levels of complexity. Using your knowledge and skills to reduce mental health symptoms by improving function and participation to help individuals develop and maintain positive mental health in order for them to live full and productive lives. Role details: The Occupational Therapy team within Adult Mental Health Services is a dynamic and expanding service based in the community, dedicated to supporting adults with mental health conditions. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals overcome challenges that impact their ability to engage in meaningful activities (or occupations) that are important to them. Your role will involve working closely with individuals, their families, or carers to identify areas where support or interventions are needed to enhance functionality and well-being. Using a flexible, creative approach and tailoring activities to meet the complex needs of each person, you will empower them to achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Occupational Therapist who wishes to develop a their mental health specialist skills within community services. To be successful in this role, you will: BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent. Hold full CORU registration At least one years experience in an adult mental health setting. Experience of supporting people with complex mental health issues and ability to support through effective treatment and risk management.
