YOU
We are looking for a driven and ambitious customer-facing Brand Ambassador to represent the diverse and premium portfolio of Suntory Global Spirits such as Jim Beam, Connemara, Maker’s Mark & Roku gin and an exciting range of premium world whiskies such as Yamazaki, Hibiki and Laphroaig. You’ll be passionate about our portfolio of brands and be able to confidently tell the stories behind each brand to help deliver our business objectives.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
Performance:
* Support the overall delivery of SGS net Sales, net sales per 9-litre and wider suite of KPIs including driving SGS portfolio distribution, expansion of in-outlet menu presence, in-outlet activation of SGS brands, and planning for and execution of immersive SGS brand educational and sampling experiences with influential customers/consumers.
* Responsible for the selected account performance and the execution of appropriate push and pull (GEMBA) objectives agreed with internal SGS commercial sales team and third-party (partner wholesale) sales teams.
* Measure, track and report performance against a suite of KPIs to both internal and external stakeholders on a monthly basis.
People
Deliver outstanding results in conjunction with the following:
* Develop key contacts and collaborative relationships for SGS within Licensed Trade key accounts to include key decision makers, Licensed Wholesalers and their respective field sales teams.
* Understand customer trading and specific category strategies and build this understanding into all customer engagement, trading and activation plans.
* Work closely and collaboratively with the Marketing Team to develop specific channel plans with each of the priority & NPD Brands.
* Share wins/challenges/opportunities through monthly meeting forums.
* Manage internal communication through cross-functional engagement with Marketing, Finance and Commercial Teams, ensuring industry, competitor, customer, and consumer feedback is shared promptly and efficiently.
* Engage with the wider SGS global team to deliver a winning and collaborative portfolio strategy.
* Manage key influencers within Licensed Trade key accounts such as bar managers, mixologists, key marketing personnel and operating/purchasing managers.
* Support internal sales team in the off-trade channel with product knowledge & category insight.
Process & Planning
* Build and execute the SGS & Licensed channel ‘Push and Pull’ strategy in conjunction with the wider brand and commercial marketing teams.
* Develop brand strategies within key accounts through effective trade relationships, focus on activation, and new business development.
* Act as Brand Ambassador for our SGS portfolio in key on-trade and premium off-trade accounts, driving visibility & distribution of the SGS portfolio.
WHAT I NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
* Educated to degree level ideally (but not essential) in Business, Marketing, Business Studies.
* Solid experience in the alcohol industry in Sales / Account Management/ Brand Ambassador roles.
* Expertise in premium spirits liquid is a key requirement.
* Must have a full clean Irish driver’s licence.

* Analytical Skills to manage and interpret KPI/Performance and Market Data.
* IT Literate and Comfortable using Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
* A savvy digital and social media expert with the ability to engage online audiences and influencers.
* Strong communication and confident presenter with both public speaking & presentation skills.
