Claims Team Leader

This global business offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment where you will lead and manage a team of desk-based Claims Technicians to ensure they provide the highest standards of customer service to our clients.
* To motivate the team to do their job efficiently and ensure targets and personal goals are achieved.
* Manage the team's workflow to ensure all absences and holidays are covered, including management of the holiday calendar and authorisations.
* Hold monthly 1-to-1 meetings with team members.
* Oversee and monitor the lifecycle of the desk-based teams' claims.
* Identify training needs within the team and implement necessary training.
* Provide account management support when required.
* Deal with complaint calls received by the team.
* Manage a small caseload of claims.
Requirements:
* Hold an APA qualification and be working towards a Certificate in Insurance Practice (CIP).
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience as a team leader or supervisor.
* Exceptional stakeholder management with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Thrive in a high-pressured working environment.
* Be driven to meet and exceed targets.
* Flexibility for occasional travel may be required.
