As a Senior Process Engineer at our company, you will play a critical role in driving process excellence and increasing plant efficiencies. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical problem-solving support to the operations team, focusing on delivering solutions to key process problems through analysis and lean techniques.
The role requires you to develop and lead on process improvements, undertake, manage and report on specific improvement projects, and co-ordinate Lean activities on site. You will also be responsible for managing Graduate Engineer programs, coaching and mentoring operational teams, and providing technical support to large projects & major equipment upgrades.
We are looking for an individual with a BSc Degree in a relevant Engineering/Science discipline, including Chemical/Mechanical/Manufacturing. Green/Black Belt Lean certification is also desirable. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant experience in a process role or project environment, as well as experience in technical management, Lean tools and techniques, and knowledge of steam, heavy rotating plant and utilities.
This position requires strong planning, numeracy, analytical and PC skills, as well as high energy and commitment to best practice and continuous improvement. We value self-motivation, enthusiasm, and awareness of SOP's, Safety Legislation & relevant Codes of Practice.
