Internship Program Details:
UKG’s Intern program is dedicated to helping students jump start their business careers at a top-ranked technology company that cares about its people. This 6 month internship will begin on Monday January 13th, 2025, and will end on Friday July 11th, 2025. It is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, from 9:00am – 5:30pm. To be eligible for our internship program you must be able to work in a hybrid environment and be on-site 3 days per week at our Kilkenny office which is in the IDA Business and Technology Park.
About the role:
As a Project Management Intern, you will support the Implementation team in various project management activities, including project planning, tracking, reporting, and documentation. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to develop your project management skills, gain exposure to real-world projects, and contribute to the success of our initiatives.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans and project documentation.
2. Support the tracking and reporting of project progress, including status updates and performance metrics.
3. Deliver small projects with the support of a Senior Project Manager.
4. Help prepare project documentation, risk registers, and meeting minutes.
5. Participate in meetings, capturing key discussions and action items.
6. Conduct research and analysis to support project decision-making and problem-solving.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and effective communication.
8. Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the project management team.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
2. Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Smartsheets, Jira).
3. Strong organizational and time management skills.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
8. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
