The Lobby Host greets and facilitates the customer experience by maintaining an efficient customer flow, informing customers of menu options, the latest promotion offerings, and communicating feedback from customers to staff regarding menu or operational changes.
The role: The Lobby Host provides ongoing support to the Management Team to ensure customers receive the best quality service and cleanliness each time they visit the store. The Lobby Host must interact with customers, staff, and management in a friendly and efficient manner. It is the responsibility of the Lobby Host to carry out his/her duties in compliance with the training received. The purpose of the role is to ensure the tables and seating area are clean and free from spillages, bins are emptied, floors are clean and dry, and all public areas and toilets are clean, stocked, and presentable at all times. It is important to greet customers in a friendly and welcoming fashion, going the extra mile to meet their needs in a clean and welcoming environment. All roles require flexibility and ensuring a great visit for every customer every time.
The job:
* Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner - interacting with customers and making them feel welcome and important.
* Assist customers with buggies, wheelchairs, or trays. Provide creative suggestions regarding our food menus and make conversation lively.
* Keep the lobby and toilets clean with a focus on floor safety and the management of spills.
* Ensure the lobby and serving areas are properly set up, stocked, clean, and tidy.
* Maintain a sense of urgency regarding cleanliness, ensuring tables are cleared immediately and spills are dealt with promptly.
* Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction with both food and service.
* Respond to customer complaints and bring any issues to the attention of the duty Manager.
* Communicate with Management and staff to ensure effective customer flow.
* Enjoy providing an engaging dining experience to our expanding customer base.
* Provide a clean area to customers, ensuring clean tables, floors, baby chairs, emptied bins, and presentable toilets.
Person Specification:
* Ability to provide excellent customer care.
* Exceptional communication skills and positive representation of the company.

* Energetic, approachable, friendly, outgoing, and courteous.
Required Skills:
* Previous customer service experience in the hospitality environment preferred.
* Strong interpersonal skills.

* Product knowledge.
* Analytical skills, i.e., the ability to think logically.
