My client is a leading IT Solutions and Managed Services provider based in Dublin, known for their commitment to delivering innovative technology solutions to clients across various industries.
Position Overview: As a Senior Cisco Consultant, you will play a key role in driving our clients' pre-sales initiatives while supporting the delivery of tailored network solutions for their clients. This customer-facing role requires an individual with strong technical expertise, alongside excellent communication skills to ensure client satisfaction and effective solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and design tailored Cisco solutions to address their needs.
2. Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept sessions to articulate the value of Cisco solutions to prospective clients.
3. Develop and maintain comprehensive solution proposals, including detailed technical specifications and competitive insights.
Solution Design and Implementation:
1. Architect, configure, and deploy Cisco-based solutions (e.g., routing, switching, security, collaboration) to ensure alignment with client objectives and technical specifications.
2. Assist in project planning, ensuring technical deliverables are met on time and within scope.
3. Provide oversight and guidance to junior team members to ensure high standards of delivery and technical integrity.
Client Relationship Management:
1. Serve as a trusted advisor for clients, understanding their business and technical challenges to foster long-term relationships.
2. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
3. Maintain an ongoing dialogue with clients to gather feedback, address concerns, and identify future opportunities for IT improvement.
Requirements:
1. Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) is an advantage but not essential.
2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cisco networking, with significant experience in delivery.
3. Technical Expertise: Strong skills in Cisco routing, switching, security, and/or collaboration technologies.
4. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; confident presenting to clients and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
5. Analytical Skills: Ability to translate client needs into technically sound and cost-effective solutions.
6. Customer-Centric Attitude: Dedication to client success with a consultative, solutions-oriented approach.
